Training
Mole trapping is a skill that requires knowledge, patience, and precision. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trapper, proper training is essential for success. Simply grabbing a trap and sticking it in the ground is a recipe for failure. The book Modern Mole Trapping is a great starting point! The book is loaded with information to help protect your property from the devastating destruction of moles.
We would encourage you to join The Modern Mole Trapping Social Media Platforms including Facebook and YouTube. Engage with fellow trappers through forums, social media groups, or local trapping associations. Sharing experiences and learning from others can provide valuable insights and practical tips.

Everyone should be aware of the dangers of compromising underground utilities. Most mole work is shallow and rarely interferes with underground utilities. Gopher work is much deeper and can involve conflicts with underground utilities. When in doubt have your utilities marked by a professional locating company.
Before trapping ALWAYS know your local trapping regulations! Does your state allow mole and gopher trapping? Most do but there are a few exceptions.
