The MoleSlayer Magnum Mole Trap is designed for trappers dealing with tougher soil conditions - including heavier clay, saturated ground, rocky soils, and difficult tunnel systems where additional closing power can be beneficial. This trap features a stronger spring design than the standard MoleSlayer while maintaining the same balanced jaw geometry and proven trapping principles. Like the standard MoleSlayer, the Magnum is based on the trap’s Netherlands origin. The stronger spring configuration delivers additional driving force in compacted or resistant soils while still allowing the trap to close smoothly and efficiently. The rounded, well-balanced claw design helps prevent tunnel drag and scoops the mole cleanly into the jaws. In most soil conditions, we still recommend the standard MoleSlayer traps, which remain our preferred choice for everyday mole trapping applications. The Magnum is intended for trappers who regularly encounter harder ground conditions or simply prefer a more aggressive spring setup. The trap is constructed from high-quality galvanized metal — sturdy, reliable, reusable, and built for years of service. Like the standard model, the MoleSlayer Magnum may be deployed in active tunnels with minimal excavation and provides a quick, effective, and humane kill. Don’t be fooled by poor-quality, inferior trap designs — performance, balance, and spring strength all matter when it comes to consistent mole catches.

Note: Due to its strong spring design, this trap is recommended for users with strong hand strength. Customers with limited hand strength should consider the MoleSlayer Mole Trap with Setting Handles or the MoleSlayer Magnum Mole Trap with Setting Handles.
